PC Peripherals Laser mouse giving me headache

Hi guys, I have slight vertigo. I have been using a Ms wheel mouse optical for ages and its become inaccurate. So I got a iball laser precise mouse and I instantly got a headache, like within 30 sec. So I thought since iball is a crap company better to get logitech G5.

Same thing, laser mouses seem not to agree with me. Has anyone else experienced this? I did a search on google and curiously no one seems to have faced the same issue. Next stop is MX518 which is optical. But maybe the issue is not laser but high DPI. Strange.

Why don't you lower the DPi and adjust sensivity and try? The software bundled should give the options for setting the same.

what is a Vertigo? is it a game?

Vertigo, a specific type of dizziness, is a major symptom of a balance disorder. It is the sensation of spinning or swaying while the body is stationary with respect to the earth or surroundings. There are two types of vertigo: subjective and objective. Subjective vertigo is when a person feels a false sensation of movement. Objective vertigo is when the surroundings will appear to move past a person's field of vision.

Mom has vertigo and she struggles sometimes on the escalator and at looking down from heights...

With most people its mild...

I normally don't install drivers for mice. I believe G5 has some button for reducing res but I was getting such a headache I just unplugged the mouse. Anyway I am going to go get a MX518 tomorrow and see how it goes, or else will just get a standard ms optical mouse. I didn't ever imagine a mouse could cause so much problems.

^^ why do get dizzy :S

i own same mx518 withouts any software it work for me :p i got the new game burt my pad is not comfortable for me because there is some mouse pad problem might get dizzy not move well i raise 1000 dpi it run normal

Guys, I thought the MX518 was 1300, at least thats the price at Lamington road, these useless Pune dealers first quoted 2800, then 1800 until I called up Rashi Peripherals and confirmed its 1350. Ridiculous.

I know a dealer close to my house quite well. he doesn't have the MX518 so was trying to source it elsewhere. Hence the off prices. However I will get it from Rashi so no probs on that front. The iball Laser and G5 are back in their box with the dealer.
