Laptops Latitude D600. Salvage Mission

Hi All,

So i have an old Dell Latitude D600 laptop. Keyboard is gone. I am planning to breath life into this.

Right now, When i turn it on, the LED's will blink, the screen will be blank, in few secs machine will turn off. The same effect with power cord attached.

Any ideas?

Though I don't know much about laptop repair, I guess you can start off by checking the individual components first like HDD and RAM just to be sure.

Heya Buddy

Can you give me the caps lock , num lock and scroll lock led status ? thats your diagnostic indicators, give the status (on,off or blinking) and i could help you out,

try fn + power on and check if it works
 
hmmm.. no idea..

I have the laptop near me.. but cant turn it on now... got some stuff to finish before i do that
