Hello
I am in process of being a professional security expert. And as you know in order to do it I need to have good knowledge of networking.I want to learn the basics and these topics like:
  • DHCP
  • NAT
  • Subnetting
  • IPv4
  • IPv6
  • Public v Private IP
  • DNS
  • Routers and switches
  • VLANs
  • OSI model
  • MAC addressing
  • ARP
IWhat other topics should I learn?Which book should i refer to?And should I join a institute? And if you are referring a book, please refer the one with easy language. Thanks

Look up study material for N+ to understand networking basics, you will further need to understand operating systems concepts and usage as it will be useful when you identify and exploit flaws. S+ will give you basics of security, and then look up CEH course material.

Note that all this is just going to make you comfortable with the basics, you will learn much more with experience, and at some point can pursue a CISSP as well.

you gotta burn a lot of midnight oil googling and reading forum posts. linux kernel documentation would be definitive source for protocols though.

I can coach you for:
  • DHCP
  • Subnetting
  • IPv4
  • Public v Private IP
  • DNS
  • OSI model
@ discounted fees.
For payment details and complete address, pm me. :p
