LED tv from Bangkok

Dear all,

I am Indian in transit at Bangkok for 8 hrs, I am planning to go to buy 40"LED tv in Bangkok but to do that I have to spend almost 7000-8000 bhats extra on the cost of LED ( 1000 visa on arrival + 3000 Excess Luggage+ 700 airport tax + Indian Custom)

Does it still worth for me to buy it from Bangkok?

Samsung 40 Led 5000 series cost !5,500 Bhat,
5600 model 19.900Bhat
6220 cost is 24,000 bhat.


For the 5 series you wont be paying the customs as the 7% VAT REFUND will further reduce the price.
