Left 4 Dead is absolute chaos. It is intense, fast-paced, thrilling, exhilarating, and exhausting. It is everything you could ever hope for a game to be and more - every single expectation I had for the game was blown away entirely. I was literally in awe over how fun and unique of an experience it offered and I have to say that it was honestly the best gaming experience I've had in my life.

We as gamers seem to hear this kind of sensationalism for unreleased games far too often, and believe me that I too have been the victim of such unwarranted hype - but I promise you that these are not empty words. This game is truly original and it offers up a pure gaming experience. Everything in Left 4 Dead is geared towards reaching that mindset of pure gaming bliss. It is challenging, and you will fail. You will scream, curse, laugh and cry, and love every single second of it.

I repeat again,it's a must read.Now I wan't this game more than ever and check out the some of the photos of the valve office,it's awesome.Love the smoker zombie..didn't know you could use his tongue like tht as mentioned in the preview :O .
 
Woot! This is one game i am really looking forward to... and it seems its really gonna be something special :D
 
The best part is tht it isn't going to be the same old scripted stuff..

FiringSquad: How will the game's AI work when a person plays a single player game of Left 4 Dead?

Michael Booth: At the core of Left 4 Dead's gameplay is a set of technologies we refer to as "The Director." Whether you're playing a game with 8 humans filling out the available roles or playing in "single player" mode, The Director is in charge of monitoring the pacing of the game. So, for example, if your team has been bombarded with Infected hordes and bosses, The Director will schedule a break in the action. If your team is chewing through Infected like bubble gum, The Director will send a few Boss Infected your way, and so on. And all of this is done procedurally to insure no play sessions are alike -- there are no triggers, generators, special flags, or other human-placed information in the environment that specify where to place the Infected. As a result, the Survivor team can never predict when or where they will encounter anything.

Well,there is some new info like this one..

Shack: Do you foresee campaign releases in the future via Steam or some other means?

Michael Booth: Yes, absolutely. As with Counter-Strike, we plan to keep building and expanding [Left 4 Dead] long after the initial release.

Hope there won't be any teamkillers in this game but tht's like wishing for a sports car to magically appear in your room.Well,I'll be helping my teammmates all the way except for maybe when we encounter this..

The Witch basically wants to be left alone. If players encounter her with their flashlights switched off while moving quietly, she may do nothing at all. If, however, she is disturbed in the slightest she has the ability to scratch the entire team of Survivors to little bits on the floor.

I won't shine the flashlight on her..just lift her skirt tht's all :P (then maybe switch on the flashlight)

Beside the biker, a rough Green Beret chews on a cigar. Our fourth "party" member -- this was no party -- we've been calling "Punk Orlando Jones." It's a name that probably has some history behind it, but no one's really interested in hearing it right now. The catch is, while only one of the two guys in our foursome is actually being played -- the other is an A.I. teammate -- we won't find out which one is the "bot" until after the match; the A.I. in Left 4 Dead is that good.
