Laptops Lenevo Warranty Upgradation

Hi Guys,

I had purchased a Lenevo Laptop G 450 with 1 year carry-in warranty.

I took a 3 year On Site warranty over it and registered it online.

Its been more than a month and the same does not show online under warranty status....to add to it I had a lot of problems upgrading the warranty online.

Anyone who faced similar problems....

did you paid to Lenovo directly/online or used Warrranty extention card purchased from dealer to register.Anyway you have to call Lenovo India support staff to reregister the same (keep copies of original invoice too, they may ask you to email the same).Plz complete the process ASAP as its strict to register within 45 days of purchase for warranty extention schemes.

Hi amd999,

I used a warranty extension card purchased from the dealer in New Delhi. Now the site is not even showing any kind of warranty...Its only showing the machine serial number...

I have even mailed them ( through post) the entire details pasting my warranty upgradation code. But as of yet nothing has been updated to me or on the website.
Yaar India me sab aisa thaka kaam kyo hota hai

Anyways...Thnx for ur reply...I tried contacting the customer care...woh bhi hamesha busy aata hai ....

Try to contact by phone itself, does your online registration was sucess or not.Does you received any email from Lenovo saying that ur warranty details are updated,plz reply.

Hey amd999,

I called up lenevo warranty at their help line.
They told that the warranty at their end is showing only as one year. Further they asked me to send the scan copies of the warranty thing (customer copy which I have) and the invoice details.
Probably i will send the details by tomorrow.

I had registered the pack online but Im not sure if it got registered...Crap system Lenevo has....I just received this mail from their side..
