this will not only help you with the sale but also not shoo away prospect buyers (like me for example who came to this thread hoping for more details) who might be genuinely interested in buying it and maintain transparency pre sale as well....

got pm from ot - these are smuggled laptops hence no warranty. if you are looking for something equally cheap consider this -- MSI cr400x which comes with T4500 @ 2.3ghz, 320gb hdd,2gb ram, 512mb nvidia 8200m (256 mb system shared), 14.1 inch screen,bluetooth 2.1 with edr, dvd writer,1.3mp webcam and 6 cell battery which can give upto 3 hours 30 minutes with moderate performance. it comes with 2 years warranty and priced at 21500rs. it is listed on ebay as well. do shop around for options. warranty is essential to a laptop. there are people on the forum who've had warranty issues bcoz service centers refuse to honour the warranty of the laptop they've bought in the US and eventually you will have to pay a hefty amount for repairing the laptop.
i don't stock anything nor do i sell anything nor do i promote anything. i am consumer who happens to know a better deal. i am not interested in eating into your sales. its just that some people need to be informed about alternative options - people who are genuinely interested in shelling out 20k of their hard earned money on something that comes with no warranty and then paying the price later with defects or problems in the laptop. btw you were not very kind when you replied to my pm. also do post pictures of the boxes here.

There are many TE members who are noobs, if not in one area then may be in some other. I am one of them when it comes to Laptops, i actually thought you had a great deal going untill Sunny27 pointed out the facts. And i agree with him, he is fully within his rights to post on this thread, this is far from thread crapping. And may be his superior intelligence might save someone's money.coldfear00 said:

@coldfear -- i doubt you will be able to sell much of ur laptops here . also i thought the te mods and admins were supposed to stop people from selling such stuff unless they had 100 posts or a few itrust notifications.(read in some post don't remember where this was during the lynx debacle). te is first a tech forum and then a marketplace and not the other way round.

^^^it was 27500 and it came with a core 2 duo t6500. that was way back in the first week of jan 2010 almost 7 months back. the recent prices on ebay were 25500 for the same msi laptop with core 2 duo and 23k for the dual core version. both were being sold from some seller in hyderabad.recently the cr400x with the celeron was being sold for 18-19k and was mentioned in the ebay hot deals thread.
the 21500 for the dual core model is the quote i got from my msi dealer in ahmedabad. this was last week when i went there looking for laptops within 25k to gift to my sister.
