Laptops Lenovo 3000 N 100

I just got a Lenovo 3000 N 100 -768HCQ. Dunno why the HDD shows as 107GB (single partition) as far as I know it should be either 120GB or 100.

Also which software can I use on windows vista to make partitions without requiring to format the computer.

yr hard disk may be havin some space reserved for data backup n stuff if u hav purchased wid orig windows...... try gparted for partitionin.....widout reformattin.....vaise i hope u r not wantin to partition the drive windows is in...is it a single drive of 107 gb

Yup..there must be some sort of recovery partition!

yeah it is a single drive of 107gb and has vista preloaded. I just want to make partitions of 40gb each.

if u wanan make partitions now.. then u can still do it,

use Acronis Disk Director.. its an ace utility imo
