Lenovo has unveiled IdeaPad A10 - its first Android OS based laptop.
The Lenovo IdeaPad A10 features a 10.1 inch display with 1366x768 resolution which can be rotated around by 300 degrees to use it in stand / theater mode ( like the Yoga series ) . In laptop mode, it can be used like regular laptop with the AccuType keyboard. The A10 is very portable as well, measuring just 17.3mm and weighing less than 1kg.
Under the hood, the IdeaPad 10 houses a RockChip RK3188 1.6GHz quad-core Cortex A9 processor which is quite popular in Android TV sticks. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean .It has 2GB RAM and 32GB storage with microSD card slot. It includes 0.3MP web camera and stereo speakers.
Connectivity options includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, two USB 2.0 ports, microUSB port, microSD card slot, HDMI port, combo audio 3.5mm jack. Its battery is said to provide up to 9 hours of video playback.
Lenovo has not announced the price and launch date yet.
