Windows Lenovo G50 -70 hanging frequently

My laptop is hanging too much , can anyone help me to resolve this problem. Although i have been scan my lappy using mcafee and quick heal anti virus and cleaned with ccleaner.

are u using two antivirus engine ?

go to task manager and find how much resource svchost.exe is consuming and report

Yes, I was using two Antivirus but after un installing them, there were no changes in performance.

Check if CPU speed is going to max, if its not then the thermal paste needs to be changed.

Check if memory usage is full and it is writing to page file/compressed image.

Check if the HDD is faulty.

In our case, even with 16GB of RAM, the laptop was slow, HDD was checked and turned out to be culprit. Got out all data in time.
