My friend plans to get a new lappie.
uses mainly are
  • surfing
  • occasional IT work
  • low end and flash games
  • skype
  • will be kept at apartment and so portability not issue
  • movies,songs etc

budget it max. 35K

two contenders for the spot are

  1. is there any other better options at this price range??
  2. is there any cheaper options for his above mentioned requirements.
  3. will be using for 4-5 years
 
^15.6 inch was preferred by him.

btw,he did find few good local deals for HP and Samsung i5 2nd gen laps.
which is a better go!
he did like both of it after personally testing them.
