I ordered a washing machine from LG's site and there was a cashback offer on it, but because I was an idiot and didnt know about it, it was supposed to be an Instant Cashback offer, which I assumed was that the cashback would be credited right after transaction but instead it was supposed to be a discount on eligible cards on EMI/Full Payment.
Issue is, I didnt receive the cashback and raised the issue to LG's Customer care, where the executive said, that the offer is only valid on EMI transactions despite the offer on the live listing saying Full Payment too. Now there has been a lot of back and forth with LG on this issue but they are stonewalling my every attempt, they keep saying our billing team will solve this but its been 2 weeks with no update on it yet.
Is there anything I can do? I used a HDFC CC and as expected of an Indian Bank, they are ****ing useless in disputing the transaction, and because again I'm an idiot, I did not really push for cancelling the order because the executive said, they'll resolve it. Now the machine is delivered to my relative and they have started using it too, so am I screwed now?
