I saw the ads during IPL, were they only for television, or included monitors, and any clue on the availibity, pricing etc?

LG introduces In-Plane Switching technology to its LCD's

It looked like more of a PR-ing after reading the BS link.

But there are already some gorgeous stuff like

and being an lg it will have some idiotic problems/limitations too.
