Hi guys,

I just bought LG scarlet 32" . Nice stunning looks. good picture quality and the USB port feature and i was in for the deal.

But the very first day i have realised that the USB port even though it plays XVID and DIVX movies, the audio out is disabled in the USB mode.

So when i switch to the usb stick the only way i can get audio is from the small speakers on the tv and not my SONY speakers...which sucks

The LG guys are now saying tahts the only way i can get my audio.

Anyone knows any other way around this problem

Strange..if your audio "out" is connected to ur home theater or external speakers, the sound must come from them when you switch them on...

If nothing works then i'd suggest going for a half decent dvd player with USB input. Shouldn't cost you more than 3.5K even for a Philips one.

This will solve your troubles for good.

When you buy damm good LCD's, just forget other features and the main idea should be looks and contrast ratio..response time..hdmi ports etc.

Its better to play with via your computer through DVI/VGA or HDMI way.
