LG has announced LG Watch Urbane, the company’s first luxury Android Wear smartwatch with metal build, ahead of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015. The LG Watch Urbane is more formal with a thinner profile and resembles a luxury timepiece, says LG. It has stainless steel body with stitched natural leather strap and the strap can be replaced with any 22mm wide band.
It resembles the LG Watch R with 1.3-inch (320 x 320 pixels) P-OLED Display, but it has narrower bezel. Other specifications are similar to the G Watch R, including a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 SoC, 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. It is dust and water resistant and can stay in water up to meter deep for 30 minutes, packs a 410mAh battery and also has photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor to measure heartbeats.
