Announced at the end of August, and showcased at IFA 2012, LG's 27EA83 WHQD monitor has started to be listed by European stores, as a pre-order item. This 27-inch widescreen display featured an LED backlight, an IPS panel, a native resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, a 6 ms response time, 350 cd/m2 brightness, a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort connectors, a 3-port USB 3.0 hub, and a stand enabling height, tilt, swivel and pivot adjustment.

The 27EA83 can be found priced at €727.

.... err that's about Rs. 52,690/- at today's rate..... phew. Wish they had offerred 3D too along with their reputed passive glasses technology.
