Graphic Cards Lifetime warranty in India

Does any of the retailer provide any lifetime warranty on graphic cards ? I am about to get a Leadtek 7600GS for 7K and am not sure whether to try and look out for a lifetime warranty card and shell out more if required.
 
Well lifetime warranty is most cases mean 3 years or 5 years... So depending upon the product check the warrant... lifetime does not mean ur lifetime... it means product lifetime...

Also if u buy a good reputed brand then u will get the warrant directly from the company.. So choose a company that has enough network and penetration in market so that ur product gets replaced as soon as possible in case u face any issues...
 
No. In fact companies like XFX even provide double-lifetime warranty i.e. if you sell the card to someone else too the warranty is valid. If lifetime meant 3 yrs or 5 yrs why wouldnt they mention that. Can you send me any link which specifies that ?
 
So you will get a 7600GS now and use it for say 10 years and it goes faulty. How will the company replace your card. The card will not even be in production. The life time warranty term refers to the life expectancy of the card. In 3~4 years any card would be out of production or become so obselete that you will have to buy a new one even if the card is not faulty. XFX and Leadtek both offer 3 year warranty for thier card which is more than enough. you will find the 3 year term in the fine print which most people ignore to read. I do not even know of any card which offers more than 3 years outside India.

The only product I know that has a literal life time warranty are Sony Floppies (In America) you can exchange a faulty floppy for a new one any time at sony authorized stores there. But who uses floppies there?
 
Makes sense. I just bought a Leadtek card and it just struck me that in 2-3 yrs it may be obsolete !!!

ya very true how can a company giv you life time warranty and if you are a concious gamer get your self a 7600GT not GS cards thy are not very good usually are cheaper and low on performance .
 
BFG gives life time warranty right ? Well even they know within few years your current card will be obsolete and within that time another card more then 5 times powerful then your current card and 1/3rd price of it will be released. Then even you can afford it and looking for lifetime warranty makes no sense....3 years is hell lot of time...
