ah, I already know this is an oddball request, so here goes nothing:
I need a list of commonly used Hindi words (e.g Main, apko, apne, jaana etc.) in a simple text file...
Reason being that having recently switched to android, one of my biggest peeves against it is the ridiculously bad on screen keyboard (OSK)
And it's a double whammy as a) the OSK on my previous phone was leaps & miles better, b) I use a lot of Hindi words while typing text messages and extended usage of my previous phone meant that the predictive dictionary on the phone had already learnt the words
what makes it worse is the fact that the android kb doesn't even learn new words that you are manually keying in while typing unless you explicitly go and add it to the custom dictionary
One possible workaround is bulk importing the more commony used words into the user dictionary on the android so I listed out approx 50-60 such words on my comp and imported them into the custom dictionary
but needless to say, it's far from complete
