Graphic Cards List your favorite video card

List out what video card you think was your favorite till date. (May or may not have owned the same!)

For me - Radeon 9700 pro. Can't believe that a card that came out in 2002 still holds strong in so many games and can play most of today's games (other than FEAR) at 1024 with medium/high details. Thats an amazing lifespan considering that video cards get outdated in 6 months :P

Second favorite - Riva TNT2. The card that killed 3dfx. It was the first card to do 32bit rendering and offered huge performance boosts over the existing tech at that time at a very affordable 120-150$

favorite ..... hmmm .... its always changing :)

The one, i own currently :P ......

9800P and XT really nice card for there time of launch .......

and X1xxx series from ATi .... my next card is ATi ;) ....... as haven't used ATi much ..... this time i will chk them out :)

The 9800XT. A freind owned it, was amazing drooled over it and it came with HL2 !!

Currently - 7800GT, amazing VFM looking at US prices and great performance too..

Though I wanna buy an ATi card next to actually see the IQ difference.

9700pro all the way. had bought the quakecon edition just 1month after the release for 380$ & it was the only gfx card that lasted me the longest.

My nVidia GeForce4 MX440 lasted for more than two years and I was still able to play NFS:MW on it albeit at low settings. So its gotta be one of my favourites. :P

Im just a little off but all the same anyway. I just love these cards

ATI 9500 non-Pro L shaped memory - got one and modded it to the 9700nonpro and oced to 9700pro. Was the best card at that time for $140.

TNT2 - love it cuz it runs my boat, still using it :D

Raghu.

A 6800GT coz I own one :P and I love it......

Today, it would be the X1900XT.... almost equal performance to the XTX but much cheaper.

geforce 2 series cuz i actually used it.
right now using a 6800u amazing performance.
love the intel onboard graphics 1 in 845 mobos :))

My all time fav card was the Weitek 9000 which was a VL Bus display card which ran on 486's. This card cost me 25k and it was the fastest card for 486 computers and it was made like a jewel. I still have this card .... it is about 10 - 12" long. :O

I still run a TNT2 card on my second comp which has a AMD 2000+ on an ASUS A7V333 and I am always amazed by its text quality. Absolutely perfect text right across the screen.

Geforece 6600GT is the 1st graphics card i have ever used so i like this card. Other than that i like 7800GT(for good vfm), ATI X1900 series.

9800 pro ! One of the best cards.............

Tnt2 ofcourse one of my first cards :P

x1800/x1900 for their radical change in architecture.........

Favourite Cards...

Riva 128ZX

GeForce 1(3DFX Killer)

9800 Pro(Though i just had this for a really small time but... Great great card)

6800GT

As of now i own a X850 and a 7800GT but i trust more in X850... Why cause its ATI... And with ATI you cant lose...

voodoo 5500. It was the best card i had pleasure to own. It was stunning monster at that time.

Then in modern era my GF3 ti 200 golden sample and 9800XT.

9800XT will be special card for me. i got it before formal release of the card ;)

It was the card i experimented most with watercooling, peltier cooling. custom air cooling with P3 heatsink and custom ramsinks, ic sinks etc etc.

I had dressed up that beauty from top to bottom :P

it used to look like hippie. hehehe.

One card to rule them all, one card to find them,

One card to bring them all and in the darkness bind them:

The ATi Radeon 9700 Pro - the best card ever architected!

SiS 4mb! YeaH! came with my Pentium 2 266Mhz! Loved my Pentium 4 266Mhz too. Just mangaged to run Red Alert 2. I used to play online thru Rel Dialup :ohyeah:...

FX5200, my first "Real 3D Card" Rocked at its time, played all games well. My dad picked it out when he was in USA. Cost him only 100 Dollars or sumthing.

x800 xl ofcourse. Still plays all games at high very well. Even FEAR.

x1900xtx! Pure speed, and IQ.

But still, let the 7900gtx come :bleh:
