well buddy get in the samsung sata dvd rw 1.2 - 1.3 k any were between it. its a very good dvd rw. and the verbatims made in taiwan are good. sony mit have also proved to be good. stay away from moser baer's .

Using it for last 2 months. Very good performance. Only that it is a bit noisy for 4-5 seconds after inserting a disc and that it is a Samsung! (i mean past reputation)

Is it lightscribe (at that price ..i doubt it is ) ??
me lookin for a Sata + Lightscribe burner!
 
i just bought that lite-on sata dvdrw drive.. works amazing.. good speed bux i can write a cheap media at 18x only.. bought for Rs.1475 only

Did u get the LH-20A1L-06 ?? the model that m talkin bout??

if yea....then @ 1475 locally this is neat :)..

Did u try the lightscribe yet?? are the prints ok?
 
dunno about this model, but my experince with Lite-on has been bad. i have used 3 diffrent DVD writer models, and each of them develops a slow read and write problem after 8 - 10 months of usage... even after replacment, same thing happens..

Hi karan this is saurabh here.....mate...if not Lite-on..then do u know bout other lightscribe burners that are SATA interface??
 
Na...the Lg H55N isnt a sata drive...thats IDE....

well....wat i am lookin for is a Lightscribe + sata drive....

n as of now...the only drive that provides both is the Lite-on....

and if i leave the Sata factor..then the LG h55n mentioned by Udit seems a good deal...
