Storage Solutions Liteon writer problem

Hi ,

I am using Liteon AH20A1P dvd writer.
But since a month, facing problems. I write a dvd, but when i check what is written it shows dvd as blank -> it doesnt write anythg :huh:
I am also having problems in reading dvds.Sometimes it reads sometimes it doesnt?
The writer is just 6-8 months old.
So do i need to buy one or can it be repaired?
I lost my bill so cant get it on warranty :ashamed:

Generally the shop guys write the date and sign on the drive...so u can jus take it to the shop to claim your warranty....you dont really need a bill....try your luck
