Its a online storage/sync solution across multiple devices like your PCs, Mobile phones and even Macs.

Looks pretty decent to me, will do some testing and post back

What does the Yup Finally signify? Did you sign up for mesh just today?

And the Mobile phones and Mac part of the solution are not yet working.

Been using it since it launched, it has a huge potential, but has some problems, which is unerstandable since it is only a tech preview.

But microsoft's scene at present with their folder sharing apps and services is a bit strange and confusing.

They have a 5GB only online storage in SkyDrive.
Then they have the two Folder Syncing services in Foldershare (now renamed to Live Sync) and Mesh.

According to rumours and news, Live Sync is going to be the service which the end users will be using in order to share and sync with their friends. It is going to be integrated to Windows Live Messenger.
Live Mesh will only be a platform for the sync, and the Operating Environment.

Foldershare and Mesh Folder Sync work on the same architecture, and it is the obvious solution for the present confusing state. Though they need to integrate the skydrive somewhere here too.

Folder sharing is just the preview for showcasing mesh's ability..it will have an api and wil be like a platform for apps to use its api for inter computer communication and many other things..

Yeah, like i said, Foldershare, after being renamed to Windows Live Sync is presumed to take over the Folder Syncing ability offered by Live Mesh. And as posted in the Live Mesh blog today, a "required" update is coming next week, which shall be a must to continue using Live Mesh.
BTW, did you check the promo video of mesh? I made a thread for that. The video shows mesh on Phone, PC, Mac, Zune, Xbox and even the audio system in the car! Hope it becomes the platform used by other companies too!
