Looking for a camcorder

Whats a good camcorder in 30k , saw the sanyos , look pretty and water resistant too , available in Mumbai or anythin else suggestable ?

Canons. The Flash memory based ones. Get them cheaper from the US etc. Indian range starts around 23-25k I think (The FS100)

how is the hdd based sony which come for 23k.....forgot model number 30gb hdd...20hrs recording 40X zoom

prefer flash memory to HDDs. lesser storage but more reliable. wont go boom if dropped/mishandled

yea the sanyo camcorders seem better than these canon ones ,are they available in mumbai , teh canon fs 100 seems nice but looks a tad expensive for the price

well i have use my friends sony HDD handycam ,u will never have to worry about space and is pretty good , he did consider the flash based expensive tiny HD handycam but its isnt practical as of that day and today.

I bought the CANON VIXIA HF100 for around 480$ , and its been amazing so far , Its flash memory and Full HD. Very Light to use and carry almost like a soda can.

Altough post processing is a pain to edit avchd file, nothing less than the latest hardware would do if you need latest effects in your movies.
