CPU/Mobo Looking for a CPU+Mobo combo around 5-6K, please advise.

I'm looking to upgrade from my old C2D and move on to a better platform, upgradability and other factors like future proofness don't matter much. I was looking at a Pentium G2020 and a H61 Mobo around 6K for both but I'm open for suggestions. My primary use for this setup is going to be gaming in 720P with a 6670 or an R7 260/250X
 
Have you considered RAMs ? C2D system must be using DDR2 RAMs, where as newer architecture would need DDR3.
 
Even if you get a Proccy-Mobo combo at ₹6,000, RAM will set you back by another ~₹1,400 for 2GB and ~₹2,600-2,700 for 4GB. This will push your budget to approx. ₹8,000
 
I can go till 8K but that's it. 6K is just for the mobo and proccy[DOUBLEPOST=1401592475][/DOUBLEPOST]Anyway, my question was to which particular products to get. Do you think a pentium G2020 would do good for 720p gaming?

Get a Pentium G3220 @primemumbai for ~3500 with a Gigabyte or Asus 81 series MB for ~ 3500 totalling approx INR7000

It's more than enough provided you have a suitable graphic card paired with it.
