just as a after thought how about i add an extra 7k and buy a hd5770 1 gb, is it gud.... any suggestions......

Intel Core i5 2500 @ 10.3

MSI H67MA-E35 @ 5.2k

Corsair 2*2=4GB DDR3 1333Mhz C9 @ 2.1k

Seagate 1TB 7200.12 SATA HDD @ 2.7k

Benq G2220HD 21.5" FULL HD @ 7.4k

Corsair VX450W @ 3.7k

GPU: If you're not sure about this, I suggest just wait out till HD6670 launches. It should offer enough juice for casual gaming, and also Rift(not too resource heavy) should work fine too. Otherwise, immediate option is HD5770, great choice.

hey thanks,

but i found out from called couple of stores in hyderabad ctc and they dont have msi H67MA-e35 in stock.. so can you suggest me any other gud boards.....

as said in my first post i will not need a hdd right away as i have wd 1tb black edition......

the shop guy gave me this option-------------Gigabyte H67MA-UD2H-B3------------------- @ 6,950/- is it gud ....

also it read from one of the review that this chipset has limitations with the ram, like i can use only ddr3 with 1333Mhz... if i use higher, like a 1600Mhz they will run at 1333mhz only.....

Yes you can get the Gigabyte H67MA-UD2H-B3. Excellent pricing :) Even with VAT it comes to just ~7.25k!!

You can go for value RAM and save some bucks. Go with 1333MHz.

thanks

Intel Core i5 2500 @ 10,300/-
Gigabyte H67MA-UD2H-B3 @ 6,950/-
Corsair 2*2=4GB DDR3 1333Mhz C9 @ 2,200/-
cabinet (as i see gamma has been highly recommended so) NZXT Gamma @ 2,200/-
Benq G2220HD 21.5" FULL HD @ 7,400/-
Corsair VX450W @ 3,800/-

GPU -- HD 5770 1gb dont know the pricing may be 7,500/- (app)

total -- 40,350

I would advice you to buy HD6850 ~ 9.5k if you can spend 2k more... HD5770 is good for 1600x900 resolution but not for FHD resolution... Just my 2cents :)

thanks hades

increasing my budget by 2k is not a problem... will look for that... do u have any specific in mind...... i can even increase it by 4 or 5 k but was not sure if it was worth it..... heard from a friend of mine about a cyclone version.... any advice.....

ok thanks both of u guys,

@ darkangel.... just called the store and he gave me MSI HD6850 Cyclone PE 1gb--------------------- @ 10,600/-... this should be ok right......

@ comp@ddict... its ok if i can see the difference in the game playing experience thats fine.... so will go with hd6850.....

is corsair vx 450 sufficient if i use HD6850 and in the future add some hdds.......

VX 450 More than sufficient for HD6850 and few HDDs.

hey thanks,

so here is the final config

thanks

Intel Core i5 2500 @ 10,100/-

Gigabyte H67MA-UD2H-B3 @ 6,950/-

Corsair 2*2=4GB DDR3 1333Mhz C9 @ 2,200/-

cabinet (as i see gamma has been highly recommended so) NZXT Gamma @ 2,200/-

Benq G2220HD 21.5" FULL HD @ 7,400/-

Corsair VX450W @ 3,800/-

GPU -- HD 6850 1gb 10,600/- (app)

total -- 43,250

any changes required or suggested please comment else i will go with this....... i am buying it on thursday so that i can do some gaming on friday, saturday and sunday :)

ps: @darkangel.......along with the 2 or 3 hdds i will also be adding 4 to 5 fans on the gamma vx450, will not have any problem right.....

HD6850 Cyclone PE is selling for 10.2k and the dealer from whom you got quote is charging some 400 bucks more... Tell him that its selling for 10.2k and ask for some 300 bucks discount atleast...

Honestly its a decent quote considering its not Delhi or Mumbai. Plus SMC is MSI Dealer and i think thus he has excellent pricing. But then as you say there is no harm in try to bargain though :)
VX450 can handle all that you have mentioned without breaking a sweat. Your processor and Mobo conumes just ~240w at 100% load (Which is very unlikely unless you run furmark)
Even in this case you have plenty left to handle the rest. So relax and get the VX450 without worrying a lot :)

thanks man for the reassurance.... will get the rig this Thursday and will post the final price i got (will try to bargain a bit, will definetly ask the gpu for 10.2k, thanks hades)......

thanks to comp@ddict,Darkangel and Hades.....

--- Updated Post - Automerged ---

hey one more question called the store and he gave me these ram prices

Corsair 4gb DDR3 1333Mhz-------------------- @ 2,200/-

Corsair 4gb DDR3 XMS3 1600Mhz CL9------------------ @ 2,750/-

Corsair 4gb Vengeance 1600Mhz CL9------------------ 3,100/-

as i said in my earlier posts i read in review that 67 chipset does not support 1600Mhz they will run at 1333 only so is it worthy to buy a 1600mhz
