Looking for a new wireless connection in Delhi

Hi,

I am looking for a new wireless internet connection for my laptop. Since I will paying the bill so wanted something that is value for money. I will working mostly in the evenings like after 9 or 10 pm. So if there is any night limited / unlimited plan thats easier on the pocket then please advise me. I heard MTS is not good. Reliance and Tata photon :huh:. Which plan :huh:

When I see your work plan, it doesn't seem to me that you actually need a mobile internet. It appears that you will be sitting at home and using your lappy.

If my assumption is right, you may be better off using a WiFi connection from MTNL or Airtel rather than a wireless internet like the ones you are contemplating. That will be more VFM IMHO.

What do we require to get a wifi connection? i do not have a fixed line connection at home.

You will have to apply for broadband and since you do not have a landline, the application has to also include the landline. Not sure about Airtel but MTNL form requires you to specify whether you want a wired LAN or Wifi. If you say Wifi, you will be supplied a ADSL modem router that should have 4 LAN ports plus WiFi to handle something like 16 connections over wifi.
