Budget 90k+ Looking for a powerful and future proof PC

Budget: 1L, but flexible
Requirements: Fast CPU and high RAM. I need it for office work, programming and data processing. No gaming, so not investing in a GPU right now. I might want to get a GPU next year for video processing and streaming.
OS: I would love full Linux support (either Ubuntu or Pop!). Otherwise I would have to use Windows with WSL

I am an absolute noob when it comes to PC peripherals, so I built this one with a help of a friend (who is a noob too). Feel free to provide suggestions / changes:

CPU - Amd Ryzen 9 7900X - 36,000
Mobo - Asus Rog Strix B650E-F - 28,000 (no idea why this one. I am not sure why I need onboard WiFi lol)
RAM - Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5 5600MHz C40 - 18,000 (9000 each stick). I will upgrade to 128GB in future.
PSU - Corsair Rm1000E 1000W 80 Plus Gold Atx 3.0 - 15,000

I will go with 500GB of NVME and prolly 2TB of slow SSD. Need to decide on cooler and cabinet too.

I don't need monitor, keyboard, mouse. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

I had no idea about this! My friend suggested AMD 7900X, he said it is faster than Intel couterpart, less power usage and also great VFM. So good to know AM5 will get newer CPUs and I can upgrade in future.

Any reason you switched the mobo to Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX? I certainly don't need onboard wifi and 10k difference is significant. One thing I do love is that it supports upto 192GB of RAM (as compared to 128GB in ASUS)

PSU is 750W. Is that fine? The reason I had 1000W PSU earlier was because it could support GPU in the future.

Also, I could probably save some money or get a better CPU cooler instead of RGB one. I really don't need colors or fancy RGB.

I am not a pro but do not get that RAM. You can get a lot of faster ram in frequency and better in latency than that in low price.
You are spending big money. Please do research about any board+RAM you pick.
For cooler i would say pick a beefy one. AMD will need it.
For case, it is personal preference. Going with airflow version is always better for high end pc like this. Also if you wanna go with small sized case or big ones; that also you have to decide before buying any cooler.
Maybe other members who has built something like this can help/suggest what needs to be taken care of.
Edit: also 7900x doesn't have iGPU. Hope you have plans on how to get a video output from it.

Any recommendations for a cooler and case? I was thinking to go for small sized case, but now i am having second thoughts. Does the smaller ones run hotter due to space constraints? For me, utility comes first before aesthetics

lol I had no idea. Also, I messed up the CPU version in the OP. I want to go for 7900 instead of 7900X. I believe it consumes less power. I don't need mind the perf difference.

not as of now. I will prolly do from start of next year. But by that time I'd have gotten a GPU as well.

my current workload:

1. Sharing screen with multiple people and also live coding. Some of it is CPU heavy. I'd also have Slack/Chrome open, which take up a lot of memory also
2. Streaming my screen
3. Screen recording
4. External display 1080p, but later move to 4K. Probably 2 displays.

Mobo - You will get BT along with WiFi, I see no harm & WiFi 5 & later are almost as good as wired. I use WiFi 6 for gaming, used to play MP games a lot earlier, surely didn't face any latency or packet loss issues. It has good enough VRMs and a good value B650 mobo with 4x M.2 slots. Abundance of USB 2.0 ports is its con.

750W is fine for most GPUs, unless you plan to get 1L+ GPUs. Realistically, 3060 12GB or 4070 Super should be a good productivity GPU based on your budget, avoid AMD GPUs for productivity.

AG620 is a great value for money cooler. Not sure what you will find for cheaper that can match it. Zero dark edition (black w/o RGB) of Deepcool coolers cost more actually.
 
If you are going with video editing then intel and nvidia are way better than amd since they have better hardware support but if you will be encoding using software only then it doesn't matter.


You can change the cpu cooler to https://hardwarecorpus.in/products/thermalright-phantom-spirit-120-se if you need to cut some cost also psu can also be downsized if going for nvidia gpu. Ram works better in dual channel rather than quad channel in current amd cpu now.
