I'm looking for the cheapest monochrome laser printer to replace my Epson AIO inkjet which is a hassle every now and then. Use would be general home-office use to print about 15 - 20 B/W documents per month.
The features I'm looking for are:
1. Should be very cheap ... up to 4,000/- but max 5,000.
2. Should have a cheaply refillable toner cartridge.
3. Should be easily serviceable or service centres should be available nearby in Mumbai.
4. Should support paper sizes up to Legal.
5. Duplex printing, Networking and WiFi features are not needed.
I have read many threads here about printers on TE but couldn't come to a conclusion. I've seen the Canon 2900B recommended a lot here but now it costs more than 6,000/- so that's above my budget.
I have a few printers on mind after reading a printer review on pcworld.in here. My choices are:
1. Xerox Phaser 3117 (approx. 4,000/-)
2. Epson Acculaser M1200 (Rs. 4,575/-)
3. Samsung ML-1660 (Rs. 3,500/-)
Any other recommendations are welcome but please tell me the reason for your recommendation.
Any help appreciated.
kind Regards,
Casper
