I am from Bangalore and interested in buying this monitor. But I am facing some real
difficulty in knowing the price and other logistics..
A local dealer quoted the price as Rs.24,159+vat on their website. When I emailed him
to confirm the price, then comes his reply...
"Dear Sir, We are not able to find any detail about it's firmware. This Product comes in two variants, The One Listed here is with One year carry in warranty, takes about 7-10 days time to arrange. Other one comes with 3 years dell onsite warranty at a price of Rs.27950+ vat which takes around 1-3 days time to arrange."
Dell website itself does not mention any such variants. So is this refurbished ?
The thread at Dealers-paradise shows the price progression from
Rs.31,000 (Aug,09) -> 28, 500 -> 26,600 -> 24,400 (feb.2010)
So, what is the real price now ? Can somebody recommend a reliable
dealer for me ?
Dell site is not helpful in this regard. Just last week I saw a Dell offer ($499)
for this monitor (ofcourse that was for US customers).
