Hi all,

Its time to change my ancient Dlink DI-524.

- I'm looking for a 802.11n router.

- Already have a wireless printer & wont use NAS anytime soon, so no USB port required as such.

- Just need it to have a good range and sustain good wireless transfer speeds.

- DD WRT support would be nice, but I've never used it before and cant really think of what I'll do with it :p

Budget is strictly <= Rs.2000

I'm found these two router at the moment.

-Netgear WNR2000 (1.9k)

-TP Link TL-WR841N (1.8k)

Both of em have 4MB flash & 32MB ram.

Please advice if there are any other options..

TIA

Best bet is to increase your budget by 550 bucks more and go for the ASUS RT N13U. It has good community support for DD WRT, which once you start using it, you will not go back to stock f/w (especially in case of ASUS)

You can get the ASUS router from HS18 for 2.5k after applying coupons.

Could you please specify the coupon?
