Hi all,
Does anybody know of a portable dongle (the kind used for wi-fi internet) which can house 2G, 3G sim of any GSM operator and can work with linux.

I know that usb-modeswitch could be of help but have no idea of devices which already have support or should be interesting to have.

Till l8er.

The best dongle made till date is Huawei E220.
Its compatible with Linux and all android based tablets. But its difficult to find it.
I have used Huawei E173 previously that works without any issue with Linux. It even works easily with wrt-routers.
My E173 was !dea co-branded. Its sold co-branded with many others.

Extra: Nowadays I used ZTE AC2766 & AC2766 CDMA dongles with my Linux based laptop and wrt-based router.
