I have a 50inch tv from Xiaomi. I've heard negative reviews but I haven't faced any issues, infact I think that the panel is pretty good for the price

Just my review for Vu TV service , my friend had a issue of Powering On and off automatically and it took good 2-3 weeks i guess but they did cover it under warranty .So I m not sure of your mileage but in general the service is Okay ish but if you compare with the good brand standards its far off.

I've been using it for 2 years now. https://amzn.eu/d/9Q4xRdF. Maybe s/w support will end soon since this is an old model but I've been getting updates quite frequently. I think you should go for the newer if there is a hardware upgrade. Also even if this gets slow you can always plug in a fire stick I believe.

I may be wrong but problems with electronics are like hit and miss if we take like 10 TV 1 might not be good that will have negative review.

VU is pretty good....i was actually amazed by its screen quality when i saw it first time..Vu 43 inch cheap and best

Its the best VFM right now if you are looking for good branded stuff but don't want to spend a bomb.
