51-70k Looking to build a new PC with a new/used GPU but can't decide what to get

Don't think 40 series used price will drop much like 30 series as 50 series will be priced astronomically much like 40 series.
I agree that 40 series prices won't drop like the 30 series, the huge drop in prices seen for the 30 series was mainly because of it being overpriced at launch due to the shortage of supply the cards were being sold at double the value but what I can say with confidence is that the 40 series prices will definitely drop at least by 15-20% over the coming months, there has been a price drop already since the release of the super series and most of the price drop will be seen for the higher tier cards i.e. 4070 and above, and there will be a much larger price drop for the 80 and 90 series cards and a similar trend will be seen for the AMD cards. I think there are also rumours of the next generation of AMD cards to be only budget focused and it is also being said that the potential 8800xt card will be the top of the line and will launch at a cheaper msrp than the 7800xt and will come close but won't outperform the 7900xtx, so this could lead to larger price drops for the 7800xt and 7900 series on the AMD side.

Ohh dude don't trust userbenchmark those reviews are biased af. They are the same price and 3060ti is actually weaker, lower clock speeds almost everywhere. 3070 is better for almost the same price.

But then it'd be the age old arguement about how much vram is enough vram.

Thanks for the info. I just considered 3060-Ti because it's cheaper. If there is an option for 3070 I would strongly go with it.

I just bought 3050 8GB a day ago. Wish I could afford 3070. Let's hope for the best in the future.
