^ Not really. Command & Conquer Tiberium Wars was ~7.5GB too. But instalation was only 5GB..

When did it come out? I played that demo sort of thing which i got free being an Ati user. Fared really well on my card though it ran hot at many times.

Played the DX9 Demo of the game on my 1900XT today. I tried the default 1280 x 720 option it was giving FPS ranging from a low 33 to a decent 60. The game looks more like a bad port of a decent console game than a full fledged DX9 or DX10 title for the PC if its bringing a 1900XT to its knees even at such low resolutions. The main gripe was that the eye candy wasn't that impressive either.

Well in the case of C&C 3, the bulk of the size came from the HD videos. Theres a Rip of the game out there in which they just compressed the videos to a manageable 640 x 480 resolution and brought down the size to a mere 2GB. I had downloaded that first and tried it out and then recently brought myself the Original Kane Edition of the game. :ohyeah:
