low resource software to moniter internet use ?

need to know how much data my laptop is consuming daily. should be fast and low in size.

I use Glasswire. It has bandwidth monitor as well as firewall. You can easily see which program uses how much data and when. You can also block programs from connecting to internet. And it barely uses any ram.

Try DU Meter. Works quietly in system tray and consumes very less resources.

Which os are you using ? Windows 7 and onwards have a built in network monitor . I am pretty sure that is low in resources

I used to use du meter ages ago, literally in the days of dial up. last many years using bwmeter. works awesome. not sure about resource use though...
