The sound coming from my headphones when connected to edifier c3 headphone output is very low. One can barely hear anything at 30, and I have to increase the volume to 45 to enjoy the music. I would like to know if any of the other Edifier C3 owners have the same problem.

That is something even i am facing, but if you try to increase the master volume from the inbuilt sound manager in windows, the volume may just increase a bit.

I directly connect my headphones to my soundcard due to that very reason. And believe me, there is a hell of a difference. That is one -ve point from C3 amp, SQ is mediocre from the headphone output on the C3 amp.

I thought that my unit was defective and was about to take it for servicing. Since it seems that it is a design fault, I'm glad that I ask here first. Save me the hassle. Anyone one else having this problem?

No issues with the SQ coming from the speakers though. I just loved it. :hap2:

AS, I had owned Edifier C3 and difference is huge.

Thru soundcard, very good. Else, its ok from 40 I guess. I was then using the ASUS Xonar HDAV's stereo outputs.

Andy, even I've been facing this problem since I bought me set.
Nothing really you can do about it, just plug in your headphones in your soundcard.
