Low speed on rapidshare

Guys i have Hathway 512Blast Xtra plan...having 1Gb daytime n Night Unlimited....the problem is that i get very slow speed on rapidshare...less than 10kbps while on torrents n other sites i get speed of over 55kbps...what should b the problem???
 
i know this might sound stupid and unrealted...but can u share more details on the Antivirus and Firewall softwares installed ??????? and this might not b enuff to decide...there might be many other factors that could be causing this...
 
Rapidshare free users are all facing speed problems..First of all they capped the speed to 60KBps..And even this speed ranges frm 5KBps to 60..

i suggest you try some otherservers of rapidshare..before clicking download, select the server you want to download from..Try different servers...
 
iam getting the speeds within the range of 30-90 ... they hav reduced the speeds for free users .. but removed captcha and the 1 hour wait ....
 
Well m using Jetico firewall n Avira Antivir Personal....the problem is not just with me i think its with all hathway members in my area...i think hathway must b restricting this but is thr anyway to get better speeds??I use Firefox 3.0 as my browser...
 
i am using premium with 200Kbps constant with 2mbps MTNL connection

but on the same machine + Net without premium i hardly get 20 - 25kbps

so its just ACCOUNT prefrences
 
no yaar i used some Sixthsense broadband about some time back that gave me speed of over 50 on 512kbps but broadband closed n had to shift over to hathway....n it gave around 10kbps that time also to my frnds....

I am on AirTel's 2 mbps, I get 150-160 kbps on Rapidshare (free)
 
I use BSNL 500 (Night unlimited plan). Usually I get a speed of 50-75 kbps from rapidshare. Try to change the server when you're downloading the file and I think it may boost up your downloading speed a littlebit. Don't expect high speeds! ;)
