Hey guyz . i am about to order a piece of earphones from Lynx Chandigarh - Largest Audio , Electronic & Computer Online Superstore In India Soundmagic PL30. Its for around 1200 sumthin and + shipping will cost me around 1300. ( plus i get this Fioo amplifer free, no idea what it is)

Just wanted to confirm from all the gurus in here ... is that model worth the money or will i be able to get sumthin under 1500 better than that !!

*P.S. i passed all subjects so itrs a kind of ghuuuus from my mom. THnx mom !!!

ALso is the site gud .. and what about the warranty and tuff and how sooon they will be shiping it .. anyone ever used them ??

Very erratic seller, depends on your luck..Was kicked out of here cause of lots of complains..
There are TE dealers here, pretty reliable and good prices...pm them and check dealer section..

Yes, its 100% safe. Just make sure to ask if the product is in stock and the ETA.

There can be a delay while dealing from Lynx but never will anyone be cheated.

@OP: Just wait for one week, Mediahome.in is getting new stock of SoundMAGIC products, and you can get it from him at a lower price (I guess :ohyeah:)

i think you mean to say no one would be looted..

promising availability of stocks on phone and not sending product for weeks or even months can be considered as cheating..just a matter of perspective.

@OP

as for the product.

skip Fiio E3 incase if you can get better deal on the headphones somewhere else.

E3 requires you to buy a battery charger with rechargeable battery if you plan to use it regularly... i would suggest E5 over E3 since overall price difference is low after considering battery and charger cost...

I have had some really bad experiences (with Lynx - India), and some decent ones as well, although I have never spoken of them. Im no Lynx fan, and neither am I a Lynx hater though after the experiences I have been through, someone might have sure become one. At the same time, I also believe some incidents with him were blown out of proportion. Anyways, the OP needs to ask about product availability seriously and needs to convey that he needs a definite ETA and then go forward with buying the PL-30.

lynx is safe but u can contact mediahome and itwares here i dealer section ....they are 100% safer

Lynx is good but only if you are patient enough for delivery time, sometimes the delivery is very fast and sometimes it is too long. Personally I never had any delivery problem with Amarbir, Rahul or Mediahome.

If you can wait for a few more days ,Mediahome will be having his new stock of SoundMagic goodies..and there's a better IEM coming in as well .;)

OMG . thnk GOD i didint buy them yet !! I cant wait that is y i wanted to oredr it online . And price is fine wid me .. 50-100 rs chaeper is not much for me . also i will be getting that amplifier with it also rite !!

Awnayz so as u guyz haev sugegsted i am not buying it from them becoz I HATE TO WAIT. ANyone knwos where i can buy these earphones in dlehi . or a better anyone can tell me better option then these ???

Contact Amarbir before buying anything from lynx website. Make sure he has the stuff you are purchasing in stock. There are no other problems and is safe.

* first, u wont be cheated. U will feel like cheated for about 2~3 weeks, and surprisingly u ll get the shipments after maybe one month ? :D

* deals @ lynx are great. FiiO amp is a good start for headphone amp.

* You can have a free coaching on patience. You can even ascend to next level of patience, like some of the members like us :D

* You Can Learn A Unique And Rare Type Of English With Every Word Starting With Caps. :D

They also claim that I spread rumors about them. I write about them without dealing with them. Absolutely rubbish. I have only blogged about my personal experiences with them. I am not sure what they are reading on my blog which can be categorized as a possible RUMOR.

Seriously.

Alright. He is now threatening a defamation lawsuit against me. Still sticking to the claim that I am spreading rumors about him. I am being very nice here. I disabled the comments on all the Lynx India related posts. Fact remains, I cannot stand for any of the random people who decided to leave a comment on my blog. But I can safely say that whatever I have written on my blog personally… Nothing has been falsified. No rumors. No lies. Just my own experiences.

All of this because I decided to check if he had a cable in stock that I have been looking now for a couple of days.

Comments on this blog post have been removed in good faith on receiving ‘legal defamation related lawsuit’ threats from Lynx India. Sorry!

Funny thing… I have noticed several links on forums and blogs which are now dead related to data connected with Lynx India. Looks like this campaign has worked well for them. Fear of courts has become a big threat to freedom of speech in our country. I guess I should have pursued a law degree when I was actually trying to get formal education in this country. Best profession of them all looking at the mess we are in today.

You need to have lots of patience with Amarbir. First give him a call and make sure he has got the product in stock before placing an order/payment.

I'd like to add another good word for Amarbir and Lynx.I bought from Lynx once and had the pleasure of talking with Amarbir too.The delivery was in the promised time of 3 days and there were no problems at all.But one small piece of advice to Amarbirji from Bill Gates himself,do what you do best and find the best guys for everything else and frankly handling customers isn't really what he does best.

I had a problem while buying online and the mistake was on my side but while talking with him on the phone, to put it mildly , he isn't really a people person and he should definitely have a sales staff.

Normally I wouldn't consider shopping again as there will always be several other options but he has done and still does an excellent job in bringing some really great stuff to India.For that alone I'd like to see more people buying from him.

Well if people would have the guts to say it, they'd say buying from lynx is a mental torture 4/10 times..
Callin it a "test of patience" is an understatement of epic proportions..
