hi guys..
i changed my MTNL broadband plan from 256NU to 2 MbpsNU..as i applied for change in the last month was eagerly waiting 4 get my hands dirtyhyeah: on my new 2 Mbps connection starting tday..
but to my shock i found my plan to be the same.. and called the MTNL no 1500 where a voice (loved the way when she says...'Sheconds' ) informed my wait time to be 100 'sheconds'..and after couple of 100 seconds ..the executive told me to call 1504 .... ...i called 1504 and (again) after couple of 100 secs of wait time got to a guy who said ..it would be done in an hours time.which really shocked me coz i never expected that answer ..however.after an hour checked my account ...to my shock it was changed to 749NU ...but was getting the same ol speed... called again...and (again) after couple of 100 'sheconds' later was told to change the IP..DNS.etc..did that still no speed...called again..and (again) after couple of 100 sheconds later was informed that ...it would n't be possible..now..and tommorow being 2nd Oct. it would take around 2 days..to get my 2 Mbps NU speed.. that technically means i should pay for 2Mbps for 3 days where i would be getting 256Kbps..hmmm...(not a cheapoo..).but still yaar...
