Laptops m1330~hdmi to my viewsonic 20"~help!!

i have got dell xps m1330. its a slick devil machine with heating issues .. anyways, i have a viewsonic 20.1", with digital input.. the analog out from m1330 comes really bad on my so-good LCD monitor..

i want to connect it via HDMI.. is this a good idea? cos no other option is there as well..

secondly, whats the best solution to this issue? getting a DVI to HDMI cable?

is it available easily and any idea of price n which brand should be good to go for??

i went to nehru place.. it was horribly humid there.. tried to find the connection cable i.e. HDMI to DVI (18.1 pin) but in vain.. to my surprise no one has that cable or converter in the whole nehru place..

i tried SMC, computer empire n some other specific hardware shops specializing in such cables n extensions..

how can i get this cable friends?

my m1330 has this capability n i wanna not use vga for god sake.. the picture is very bad via analog..

i wonder y dell has even given such a pathetic output option.. they should have done something for this or is this the same case with every other laptop??

anyway, can anyone help me regarding procuring a HDMI to DVI cable.. (digial)??
