Mac OS Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard

So my room mate has an iMac and mostly used for design stuff. Creative Suite 4 was installed on the system. I am new to mac, I am a windows guy. The issue is the system works fine other wise but whenever flash is being used it, the system starts to hang, crashes too.

I am kind of clueless. Any tips or suggestions would be welcome.

You mean flash content in browser or Flash in Creative Suite ?

Run a System Update and also ensure you are running the latest version of Flash Player!
