Macbook Retina Ethernet port!

So what are you guys using to get wired Ethernet? I do NOT want to spend 2900 on a Thunderbolt-GbE adapter, will a simple USB-Ethernet adapter work? If so, which one are you guys using?
 
I had been looking for a wired ethernet solution for my MacBook Air since a couple of months. I saw a lot of USB-ethernet adapters on eBay which were quite expensive. My search ended when I saw a USB-ethernet adapter sold by veedee. I asked them if it supports Lion, they replied positively. I ordered it promptly and can confirm it works on Mountain Lion (10.8).
