Mafia 2 Not Running Pls Help :(

I just got the original DVD today.

Installed it.

With the latest physx and directx drivers.

It used to be fine till the Load Chapter part and crashed before the game began.

Then I used the crack which I had previously downloaded. Now I get the same crash error even before the game starts and doesn't even go to the menu.

1. I bought the original game.

2. Ran it through steam.

3. It crashed just before the game starts, went till the menu and stuff.

4. Then I applied the crack to see if it would help.

5. Now it doesn't start.

6. Both ways, same error.

7. The error is mentioned above.

8. I have also add binkw32.dll or whatever to the correct folder. Still doesn't help.
 
Uninstall the game fully. Delete the crack file and everything in the game folder. Reinstall the game.
 
But that is what I did in the beginning. In the beginning I didn't install the crack. It still wasn't working.
 
hi, i am planning to buy mafia 2 game do i need internet all the time for playing the game because i m in a village and use internet through my mobile airtel 2gb plan and its very slow.please advice
 
Whenever i play mafia 2 with coll and quite on the game laggs for some moments ,but with it off it doenot lagg even a little.ne one facing this issue?
