Hope the demo comes out soon. I would like to see if it's optimised for the PC or a ridiculous port like GTA IV.

I agree, i dont have a 1024*768 monitor anymore that i can play any game maxed out :(

I'll probably try the demo on PC first and if it won't run satisfactorily, I'll just switch to the console version.

Same here...

but somhow I prefer the shooters on PC just prefer the old keyboard and mouse....

so I guess I do really need more cores for my machine...
 
i believe he said that because most of us here dont really have a 2nd console, but the matter of fact is that jjo does own a PC, so seriously i have no clue why he said that.
 
^thats because most x360 and pc users are gonna play Mafia 2 for free if you know what I mean. I have the PS3 where money matters. So for PC and X360 users can change from Pc to X360 anytime, now you can't say that in case of a PS3 user, can ya?
 
Why not? PS3 users can rent the title, can't they? Also if you already forgot, I have a PS3. So I can get it for either console that I want.

not necessarily all the people will play it for free.. I for one will definitely buy it for the PS3.. so will most of the users on TE..

I'm not sure where you're going with this discussion, but if you have a point to make, then I'd recommend you make it directly. If you're commenting on my first post in this topic, then I believe I made myself abundantly clear that I'll try the PC demo first. If that demo doesn't perform up to the mark, I'll get the console version. That is all I said before you made your remark, the intention of which, I don't understand.
 
During today's quarterly earnings call, Take-Two's Ben Feder confirmed that 2K Czech's wise guy sim, Mafia 2, will be chopped up into little pieces -- you know, for a demo release. "In August, 2K will launch a comprehensive demo program on Xbox Live Marketplace, PSN and the internet that will allow gamers to experience the game up until its launch," he said. Feder offered no exact date for when the demo was expected to fall off the back of the (virtual) truck.
