Linux Magnifier needed in Xubuntu 10.4

Yest i installed Xubuntu 10.4 in my system.
To my surprise i couldn't find magnifier in the OS.

As my friend has a week eye sight i would like to know whether its there by default or i will have to install it exclusively?

Where would i get it?

I think you can use the GTK+ based "Orca" magnifier included in Ubuntu.

Try installing the gnome-orca package
(using apt-get install command)

Try installing Orca if not already installed.

Orca is a free, open source, flexible, extensible, and powerful assistive technology for people with visual impairments. Using various combinations of speech synthesis, Braille, and magnification, Orca helps provide access to applications and toolkits that support the AT-SPI (e.g. the GNOME desktop)

Thanks gaurish. It worked for me But the magnifier is bit different from windows counterpart.

Which is why my friend is not able to work as efficient as he is on windows o/s.
