absoultely if they manage top end at 15 and be not greedy they will be on a roll .maruti should assume that they are selling a Brezza diesel automatic at 15
I really hope Maruti sticks to its formula of releasing a "mathematically good" vehicle after everyone has tried and figured out the good and bad, lolToo many electric car launches this year. Eagerly waiting for the e-vitara from maruti.
batteries is end off luggage space ,and will everyone like lifting it ?I really hope Maruti sticks to its formula of releasing a "mathematically good" vehicle after everyone has tried and figured out the good and bad, lol
That said, I'm probably more hyped about eScooters with removable batteries (re: Hero Vida) than EV cars right now haha
Also, maybe a basic EV, with Android Auto and only basic features? That would be an instapick from my side, but I can see why nobody would make one![]()
You can charge the Vida the normal way too, I think?batteries is end off luggage space ,and will everyone like lifting it ?
How was the drive? Did the range claims seem to match? Also how was the build quality?Test drove them both earlier this week, have my eyes set on 9E but going to wait for 6 months to a year to let Mahindra fix all the bugs.
What about the interior and the build quality?I only drive for about 20 minutes each, people have been driving them with pedal to the floor but sales advisor was confident both cars with 79kwh batteries will do ~500km easily.
I likes the driving dynamics, adas was intuitive, didn't like the rear view because of the coupe shape though.
and by that time tesla is here ,government seems to be relaxing the policyTest drove them both earlier this week, have my eyes set on 9E but going to wait for 6 months to a year to let Mahindra fix all the bugs.
It will still be too expensive and the lack of buttons won't work well in our traffic conditions.and by that time tesla is here ,government seems to be relaxing the policy
BYD could destroy the EV market. With the new tax reduction on imported ev's, there is going to be a lot of competition, specially from Chinese brands.
Hyundai & MG will take a leap, i feel Hyundai will prevail they lagged engine sidethat is negated by ev .Overall they are world car winners as well as they have popular car in every segment ( kia ev3 , hyundai casper,ev5 ,ioniq 5,kona ,ev9 etc) and they timed the purchase of talegaon factory from GM .I did listen to jindal`s interview and he wants to build the company a plant have local team etc .To little too late. the correct direction would be joint venture on passenger vehicle and slowly growing .But they can enter ev trucks /busses lots of room and opportunity. Mahindra royally fd up with silly designs .TATA is not serious after being early mover they should have had lot off ev`s on a SKATEBOARD platform they are fooling around and selling over priced evs .tesla will steal the thunder from intial mahindra ev and german ev`s .Government wont allow Chinese ev with majority stake .Suzuki is now dependent on Toyota for EV which is sad .VW /European/JAP car manufacturer`s are still sleeping .It will still be too expensive and the lack of buttons won't work well in our traffic conditions.
If the government policy doesnt apply to chinese EV brands like BYD which has the Sea Lion, a direct competitor to Model Y.
Other manufacturers like Hyundai/Kia can also get their global products. As can VW, even Stellantis will be launching the Leapmotor C10 rebadged as Fiat or Jeep in India, some time later this year.
Also MG will be launching the Windsor 50 kWh version. This is the most VFM EV and like BYD, the SAIC brands do not have any of the Mahindra and Tata niggles.
