Dumpo the contents of the CD to a folder called XPCD:

Download the XP boot sector from here:

http://old.bink.nu/xpboot.bin

and extract it to someple on ur PC and rename it to image1.bin.

follow the create bootable XP SP3 cd guide from page 5. Note that you have to use the image1.bin file u extracted above in the procedure explained below. Also you will use all the files and folders from the XPCD to create this CD.

HOW TO: create a bootable XP SP3 CD

thank u all for the reply.

spacenoxx, my special thanks. i could refer ur soln.

this is how i could go on..
winxp sp3 ISO file was on my hardisk. i downloaded the xp boot sector link u had provided. next downloaded BBIE program. in command prompt i had extracted the xp boot sector file using BBIE. a file was created later i renamed providing bin file extension. Instead of using nerro software, i used magiciso.
loaded the winxp sp3 iso file thru magiso. i merged the boot image file into ISO file and later saved it. finally could able to burn the CD. Viola winxp sp3 is now bootable.

:D :hap2:
