I was going to for ACER 5740g-6979 but bought this because of FULL HD :rofl:

EB Series has been discontinued. Searched NP continuously for 2.5 hours and got fried in Delhi ki Loo :mad:. Only few pieces of white/pink/blue were available in whole NP :(. But i did not give up and kept on looking for a black one :D.

congrats. it's an amazing laptop. saw this once in Sony Vaio store and fell in love. Almost purchased it but had to resist the temptation :(

maybe, someday i will get it :)

Yeh me too tried to take the laptop TODAY...

but 2 things stopped me..

1. Core i3 Processer (fit in a core i5 and 5k extra i would take it)

2. The model is Discontinued (I know the pinch of getting a discontinued model Hp dv5118tx 4yrs ago, and don't want to repeat the same)

And pity they have full Hd screen only on the F series and z series (One is out of Budget and Other is way out of budget)

Sony....

WE WANT HD IN 15.5 AGAIN (Prob with core i5)

@vOILA..

Congrats on this purchase mate... good buy... but shortly you are going to realize how HOT(not in look but in temps) its in Loo season... Battery Drains fast on full HD and Gaming max of 1hr or so...sadly..

Battery, and the heat is the spoiler but otherwise it ROcks..

Are you onto Gaming...I bought the same lappy for Gaming on Move only...

Runs AC2 Smoothly in Full HD same for JC2, Crysis.. HD5650 rocks..

Whats your opinion?
