This is regarding a sale that was done from @Mohit jain, where I picked up the Mi Powerbank. I do know that I asked him about the PB, which model it was, because I knew that there was a chance it was the older model or from China, since the Xiaomi site advertises the PB as the second PB - dont know if the first was sold in India.

To which he replied, this is the latest model. Which is the Mi 2 PB - I have one as well, and from the pics, they looked similar.

On receiving it, I found it was the older model, and did not support fast charging. Sending back the PB would not be worth it, because shipping cost was quite high(was told 300 INR) - courier companies are charging more for PB shipping, with the fire issues.

I think we should ensure that the seller posts the info, and on the TE pages, this could be helpful in such cases. I am not holding the seller accountable since I too did not do checking on my part.

Is this the thread? : https://www.techenclave.com/community/threads/some-unused-items-for-sale.185659/
He's linked to a product page on flipkart - is that the correct variant or has he linked to the wrong one?
But in any case, looks like he's added the product link on Oct 23rd, after he closed the deal with you.

Yes, and now it looks like the correct variant, but I do not remember seeing the same while making the deal.

In any case, rather than linking to any page as well, I feel its better that the seller posts the specs to the best he or she can on the forum itself, thus the market place might become better.[DOUBLEPOST=1511075687][/DOUBLEPOST]He had said maybe this is the latest model.
