I have seen so many people cribbing about the new start screen but some people have done wonders with the start screen and it looks awesome!

They all have used a program called OblyTile which has been created by an XDA developer -
[APP] OblyTile - Tile Creator for all programs. - xda-developers
Would really nice for people who commonly use a lot of programs or play a lot of games.
Microsoft should incorporate this in their main code and make it a part of Windows officially. They have stressed so much for a Windows Phone homescreen be personal for each user, why not Windows 8 on a desktop/tablet/laptop/hybrid?
